The Island Sanctuary is a four & a half star boutique Bed & Breakfast located on Macleay Island in the Southern Moreton Bay area. Close to both Brisbane and the Gold Coast (approx 1 hour from either) we are perfectly positioned to offer a quiet and tranquil escape.
The Sanctuary was created with tranquillity in mind and is a luxurious getaway. We offer a variety of treatments for relaxing body, mind and soul. You can enjoy an in-house massage with a professional masseuse, a delightful organic facial treatment or maybe an energy balancing session.
If you are feeling more active you can take our bicycles and tour the nearby islands, borrow the golf clubs and have fun on the islands' friendly 9 hole course, or maybe take our 2 person hobi-kayak out to explore the usually calm waters of the marine park.
Try yoga on the beach at sunset or a creative visualisation in our courtyard studio.
The Southern Moreton Bay Islands are accessed from Redland Bay by ferry or vehicular barge. Travelling through the marine park in the protected waters you may see dolphins or dugongs at play.
A full Australian Breakfast is served on the verandah at a time to suit you. We can cater for special dietary needs but as we live on an island please advise us in plenty of time.
