It has long been a favourite spots for surfers and fishermen, and abounds with history and nature. The beaches are still unspoilt and the water is fabulous. The options are endless, laze the days away or spend your time actively engaged in all that the area of Agnes Water and Town of 1770 has to offer and just enjoy the beautiful surrounding area.
Woodgate Beach is situated along 16 kilometres of breathtaking coastline approximately 350 kilometres north of Brisbane. The beach is protected by Fraser Island providing safe swimming in the calm ocean waters all year round. Enjoy the stunning sunrises or watch the moon rise over the ocean in the evening.
Kingaroy is located at the junction of the D'Aguilar and Bunya Highways approximately 209 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. Kingaroy has the most cosmopolitan feel of any South Burnett township but it's still a relaxed, friendly and informal country town at heart. It is surrounded by extensive (and very picturesque) farmlands interspersed with low rolling hills. The Booie Range lies immediately north-east of the town and the Bunya Mountains about 55km to the south-west.
